Miss April: Julie
I grew up in a small West Bountiful home where adventure was always out the backdoor. Living in more of a country setting with an older Brother I took on a tom-boy role. Surrounded by open fields and horses I learned how to ride and train to be a Rodeo Queen. My love of the outdoors grew even stronger with visits each summer to my grandparents cabin in Jackson Hole, where I learned to fish, ride the rivers, and explore the mountains. As my family moved to Sandy I attended Brighton High and found my competitive nature in team sports. I was on the Basketball, Softball, Track, and Volleyball teams. When my mom told me to pick just one sport after exhausting myself, I chose Volleyball. I was the team captain and MVP my Senior year and had the time of my life. After High School I decided college wasn't for me and instead followed in my mom's (Lisa Street) footsteps and became a Realtor at age 18. I have been in Real Estate ever since and currently share this passion and success with my soul mate and husband Aaron. We married over a year ago and I became "insta-mom" to his 4 amazing kids. We are expecting a new little boy in December and I almost didn't do the photo shoot because I was 5 months along at the time, ahhh!!! I enjoy the outdoors, spending time up at our property near Soldier Summit, running half marathons, spending time with friends and family, cooking, shopping and playing with my little Pomeranian Annie. I feel so lucky and blessed for all that I have in my life and can't wait to see what the future brings!
